Anfield Litter network

Anfield Litter Network is powered by a shared mission of cleaning up the area. The Network provides equipment and support to local individuals, groups and businesses alike - combined with the encouragement to get out into the neighbourhood and do their bit in keeping the streets clean.

The collective efforts have received recognition from Keep Britain Tidy, noting the transformational impact the network is creating locally. Network members keep in touch via a Facebook Group and keep count of how many bags of litter collected. An impressive 627 bags have been collected in to date in 2025, and they are on track to smashing their 2024 bag total of 1008.

One way to get involved is by participating in one of the group picks organised by network members. Homebaked Community Land Trust host a weekly litter pick every Satursday at 11:30, from Kitty’s Launderette on Grasmere Street:

If solo picks are more up your street, that is encouraged to. The winning combination of solo, family and group picks are all vital in creating a cleaner neighbourhood for us to enjoy.
