Alley Angels and Green Angels are spearheading the growth and development of the Anfield Litter Network via the ‘Anfield Improvement District Clean and Green Sub Group’.
What are passions and ambitions of the business or organisation?
To transform Anfield into safe, clean, green and vibrant place for everyone to live, work or visit.
Why is it important that your business is in Anfield/Everton?
To tackle the broken glass windows theory which has seen environmental crime embedded and accepted as part of the fabric of the local community. Alley Angels and Green Angels want to counter this through the introduction of ward based Litter Networks in and surrounding Anfield.
What does this neighbourhood mean to you?
Anfield is a very special place like no other because of the passion, pride and humanity of the local residents.
What advice would you give a new, local person starting up their own business or organisation in Anfield/Everton?
If you're starting a business in Anfield or Everton, our advice would be to really get involved with the community. Take the time to meet your neighbours, support local businesses, and be part of local events. This area thrives on that sense of connection and unity, so building those relationships can really help your business grow.
What are your aspirations for the area / what would you like the neighbourhood to look like in 5 or 10 years' time?
Clean, safe, green and vibrant. With local residents loving where they live and taking ownership of solving local problems of embedded environmental crime via targeted resourced joined up Action Planning techniques.
Something people might not know about me or the organisation?
We wear Angel wings whilst collecting litter to help put a smile on people's faces!
